On certain dates at Cressing Temple there is  restricted access because of private functions, or admission charges apply (it's usually free) because of public events. Please note the following for restricted access and public closure over the coming months:

24 & 25 March  - Oakleigh Spring Fair

14 & 15 April - International Living History Festival

12 & 13 May  - Temple at War

8 July  - Helen Rollason Vintage Fair

14 & 15 July - Essex Festival of Food & Drink

4 & 5 August - Essex Craftmanship Show

29 & 30 September  - Oakleigh Autumn Fair

3 & 4 November - Oakleigh Christmas Fair

Tiptree Tea Rooms remain open and free to enter. In the days leading up events, there may be heavy vehicles moving around the site, so views may be restricted. When the site is completely closed to the public, this is done for health and safety reasons whilst event structures are being erected/dismantled and there is a lot of vehicle movement on site.
