Why not make this the year that you learn a new skill, or brush up your confidence in something you enjoy? As part of our 2017 Craft Programme we are delighted to offer a Pruning Plants for Beginners Workshop at Cressing Temple; the ideal site to learn this important and useful practice.
Hosted by Rebecca Ashbey, the Horticulturist based at Cressing Temple Barns and responsible for the beautiful Gardens on site, and Frances Strickland, previous Head Gardener at Braxted Park, the combined experience of caring for manicured and stunning grounds will be passed on to beginners in the garden. Learn how to care for your own garden space, looking at what to prune, how to prune and when to prune plants in the garden. The day will be part practical and part taught.
With limited spaces available, we advise you to book early on this workshop. Please dress for a crisp winters day, and either bring along a packed lunch or provision to buy lunch in the onsite Tiptree Barns tearoom. Parking is free.
