Picnic and Play at Cudmore Grove

Cudmore Grove

Back To Events Girl with picnic hamper and teddy on bright summer day

Gather your family and your picnic and join us for some laid back summer fun in the park. Enjoy a memorable day of activities including storytelling, themed trails, puppet shows a range of other outdoor games.

Bring a picnic or buy hot and cold food from the onsite café, then pick a spot on the beach or in the meadow to spread out and relax.

The Fools Puppet Companye will be providing amusing, interactive and musical puppet shows at intervals throughout the day.

Kenneth Bruce, from the Solstice Storytelling Circle, will be telling tales to captivate adults and children alike at intervals throughout the day. There will also be a self guided trail put out where you can challenge yourself to find all the trail markers, not to mention a wide selection of outdoor games.

Please park in the main carpark and follow the signs from there. If you are coming by car there will be a small pay and display car parking charge, which goes back into maintaining the park. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
