Cressing Temple

Back To Events Picnic table

Gather your family and your picnic and join us for some laid back summer fun at beautiful Cressing Temple. Enjoy a memorable day of activities including storytelling, themed trails, puppet shows a range of other outdoor games.

Bring a picnic or book in to have lunch at the onsite Barns Tearoom, then pick a spot to spread out and relax. The Fools Puppet Companye will be providing amusing, interactive and musical puppet shows at intervals throughout the day.

Kenneth Bruce, from the Solstice Storytelling Circle, will be telling tales to captivate adults and children alike at intervals throughout the day. There will also be a self guided trail put out where you can challenge yourself to find all the trail markers, not to mention a wide selection of outdoor games. Please enter via the Visitor Centre. Parking onsite is free.

Regrettably dogs are not allowed on site but can be exercised on the large fields near the car park if required. If you would like to have lunch in the Barns Tearoom, we recommend that you pre book, as it can get very busy.
