Nature Explorers Self Guide Trail

Belhus Woods Country Park

Back To Events Child in woodland

Nature Explorers large and small are invited to Belhus Woods Country Park throughout the summer holidays. Walk through the woods searching for giant leaf trailmarkers, solve clues and answer questions as you fill in your trail booklet. Then return to the Visitor Centre for a well done gift.

This trail runs from Saturday 22nd July to Sunday 3 September, 10am to 4pm. No need to book, simply turn up and buy a trail pack for £3 from the Visitor Centre.

This includes your guide booklet, a map and a gift for you to collect at the end of your trail. The route will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes and will be on flat paths. This trail is ideal for families with children between 5 and 12, with plenty of places to stop for a picnic along the way.

Ice creams plus hot and cold food will be available from our Cafe. Well behaved dogs are welcome. A small pay and display charge will apply for car parking, which goes back into maintaining the park.

The ground should be nice and dry, but not all paths may be suitable for buggies.
