Medieval Feast

Cressing Temple

Back To Events Hands and goblets

Isn’t it time you were treated as a Lord or Lady? Well now is your chance! Join us at the historic Cressing Temple for an authentic medieval feast with entertainment.

Enjoy six courses of indulgent medieval food, including brie tarts, sausage meat fashioned like hedgehogs, pork in an apple and cream sauce, gingerbread and cream and dried fruits stuffed with marzipan. Vegetarian and vegan options, including herb rissoles and stuffed cabbage leaves, will also be available.

Be entertained by live music, enthralling dancers and amusing jesters. Learn medieval table manners, marvel at the procession of the boars head and meet Lords and Ladies at the high table.

The Companye of Merrie Folke will be on hand to entertain you and greet you with a cup of traditional honey wine. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening if you want to buy further drinks.

This event is ideal for adults and accompanied children age 12 plus. All guests are encouraged to come in either medieval or formal attire. On-site parking is free.

Dogs are not permitted on site.
