If you have a love of history and want to share it with your family then come to the Festival that's become the primary multi-period marketplace for re-enactors, historical interpreters and enthusiasts across Europe. The International Living History Festival (ILHF) allows you to discover history in a fun and friendly way, with lots to see and do.

From our historical market, Living History displays, and immersive have-a-go hands-on history activities, it's also a meeting place and fabulous opportunity for all, visitors and re-enactors alike, to spend a weekend visiting and discussing all periods of our historical past. Many of Europe’s best artisans, craftsmen and traders are on hand, happy to advise and provide a huge array of items and replicas of historical heritage. There's great shopping too.
