Family Living History Weekend

Cressing Temple

Back To Events Medieval Crafts

Join us at Cressing Temple for this weekend long medieval themed family event, where you can meet Medieval re-enactors and learn about life in the past.

Ask questions about medieval food, lifestyle and entertainment as you interact with a variety of interesting characters. Ideal as an add on to your day if you are already joining us for our Medieval Feast on the evening of Saturday 19 August.

The on site re-enactors will be working on small craft projects, which you will be welcome to learn about and join in for small donation. Plus there will be games to play and music to enjoy.

Ideal for all the family. Why not make a day of it by bringing along a picnic or book in lunch at the 'The Barns' Tiptree tearoom. Everyone is sure to be entertained, and with free parking and free entry, why not gather up all your friends and family to come along. No dogs are allowed on site please.
