Barn Dance - A 30 year celebration

Cressing Temple

Back To Events Looking into the interior of Barley Barn

In 2017 Essex County Council proudly celebrates a 30 year anniversary of maintaining the very beautiful grounds of Cressing Temple Barns. All of our visitors, and those of you yet to visit, are invited to join us for a traditional barn dance in the magnificent Barley Barn.

With live music and dance calling from the Metric Foot Band, you are bound to be up and dancing the night away. Also included in your ticket price will be a tasty handmade sausage bap, veggie or meat burger from local artisan foodies, Totham Bangers. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know on booking.

In addition, there will be a cash bar onsite to cater for all of your tipple requirements, with a selection of ales and wine to choose from. Tickets cost £12.50. Under 2s are free. Please phone 0333 013 2738 to book and collect your ticket on arrival.

Why not come along in the day and meet our medieval re-enactors who will be camped on site, offering games and crafts for visitors. More information here. Or why not return on Sunday 22nd for our enjoyable Apple Day, hosted yearly and offering craft stalls, apple tasting and much more . More information here.

Everyone is welcome, including children and families, although regrettably dogs are not permitted. Parking is free.
