Why not start the new year by learning a new skill, or brushing up your confidence in something you enjoy?

As part of our 2017 Craft Programme we are delighted to offer an Apple Tree Pruning Workshop at Cressing Temple; the ideal site to learn this important and useful practice.

Experienced tutor Dr Anna Baldwin has been teaching for over ten years and has been asked to teach restorative, formative and maintenance pruning courses at National Trust Properties and other historically important organisations.

The course will be an introduction to pruning medium sized apple trees that are in need of attention and renovation. Following a short, but beneficial demonstration, you will then have the opportunity to practice pruning yourself. Attendees are asked to please bring own gloves, secateurs, sharpeners and pruning saws.

With limited spaces available, we advise you to book early on this workshop. Please dress for a crisp winters day, and either bring along a packed lunch or provision to buy lunch in the onsite Tiptree Barns tearoom. Parking is free.
